We found more and more customers requesting a half-caff coffee so here's what we came up with. A blend of medium roasted Colombian and dark roasted Swiss Water Process decaf Mexican Full bodied and flavorful but with half the caffeine. Great for drip, French Press, pour over or for filling your own K cup receptacle.
Many people still preparing coffee using a regular old drip style brewer are loving our mixed roast blends (dark and light roasted beans together). A twist on our Mountain Harvest Blend, we first tried the "Avalanche" experimentally at the 2014 Bluegrass Festival here in Telluride and it was a winner! We take a medium roasted Papua New Guinea and blend it 50/50 with our Black Magic. Lots of flavor, heavy body and a lingering aftertaste. Try it!
Outstanding Sampler Pack
While many mediocre coffees are overpriced right now we've been able to find some real gems. These varietals are outstanding! Maybe it's a sign that the higher prices across the board are proving to be a real incentive for farmers to really make an extra effort. We've put together a sampler pack of a half pound of each of these coffees for you to try. Combine this with another coffee to push your order over $60 and SHIPPING IS FREE!
Kenya Serengeti - medium bodied - fruity, best for pour over or French Press
Nicaragua SHG - chocolate, nutmeg tones, smoky acidity. Pour over or aeropress recommended
Tanzania Tarime Natural - soft, medium body with caramel and spice tones.
Selections may vary due to time of year. We have limited these samplers to one per customer. Hope you enjoy :)
